HONG KONG's Kerry Logistics won four accolades at this year's Supply Chain Asia Awards in Singapore, receiving the titles of Asian 3PL of the Year and Care & Positive Work Environment of the Year by judges' selection, as well as the Overall Supply Chain Partner of the Year award through live voting at the awards ceremony attended by 400 guests.
In addition, chairman George Yeo was named an honourary fellow.
The company won the 3PL of the Year award for its diverse range of capabilities, outstanding performance and strong position as an industry leader in the region. Earning the Care & Positive Work Environment accolade for the second time reaffirmed the company's commitment to value creation for its employees.
George Yeo received the honorary fellowship for his expertise, seniority and extensive experience in the logistics industry. He has been the company's chairman since August 2012, responsible for setting strategic vision, direction and goals.
Commenting on the honour, Mr Yeo said: "I accept it as a recognition of the collective work of my colleagues and me in Kerry Logistics. I thank my friends in the industry with whom we sometimes compete but often cooperate. Together we provide an indispensable service to the larger economy. Without an efficient responsive logistics sector, there can be no strong economy."
