TS Lines charters its largest ship, the Lloyd Don Giovanni, from Zeaborn

TAIWANESE TS Lines has taken on its largest ever ship by chartering the 8,533 TEU Lloyd Don Giovanni from Germany's Zeaborn for three months.
According to Alphaliner the daily rate is US$12,500 a day and the vessel will be deployed on a route from China to India and Pakistan - a service operated with Evergreen, ONE, Hapag-Lloyd, Yang Ming, Feedertech, COSCO and PIL.
Previously the largest ship operated by TS Lines, an intra-Asia player, was the 6,966 TEU which it operated for 11 months from November 2015, reports Singapore's Splash 247.
The company currently operates 36 container vessels totalling 71,100 TEU.
