OCEAN Network Express (ONE) has taken delivery of its fourth "magenta" 14,000 TEU newbuild this year. The ship was received at Japan Marine United Corporation's Kure shipyard. The sublet owner of the containership is NYK.

The ONE Columba's sister ships were delivered between June and September. ONE has three more vessels on its order book that are currently under construction with delivery expected to take place next year.

The latest newbuild to join the fleet will be phased into one of THE Alliance's Far East to Europe services (FE5) on a port rotation of: Leam Chabang, Cai Mep, Singapore, Colombo, Suez Canal, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Southampton, Suez Canal, Jeddah, Colombo, Singapore, and Laem Chabang, where she will become the largest containership to ever call at the Thai port.

The vessel has a hull designed to optimise cargo loading efficiency by minimising engine room space. The box ship is equipped with a dual system main engine that is capable of adopting both high or low output ranges, resulting in greater operational flexibility and fuel efficiency.
