JAPAN's Ocean Network Express (ONE) has recently achieved two container loading records in two consecutive weeks in Singapore.
Two vessels operated by ONE, the MOL Trust and the MOL Tradition, set the loading record of 18,694 TEU and 18,767 TEU respectively.
MOL Trust, which operates in ONE's "Far East Loop 2 (FE2)" service in THE Alliance, achieved the record on her Singapore westbound departure destined to North Europe on December 24, 2018.
MOL Tradition, which operates in the same FE2 service, renewed ONE's record on her Singapore westbound departure on December 29, 2018. Both vessels are the largest container ships in ONE fleet.
The Singapore-headquartered ONE said in a statement that "these loading records were achieved by the strong customer support to this service, excellent performance and cooperation of the terminal operators, as well as the continuous challenges made by ONE's stowage planners and shipping crew to optimise vessel's capacity and cargo weight distribution".
