CMA CGM hikes Asia-Southern Africa rate US$300/TEU from April 1

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a US$300/TEU Asia-South Africa rate hike from April 1
The "general rate restoration" will apply to cargo from China, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh to all ports in South Africa
At the same time the same rate increase will pply for cargo from the Asian ports cited above, but not including Japan to Toamasina/Tamatave, Madagascar and Port Louis, Mauritius.
