Containerships takes delivery of second dual fuel 1,400-TEUer

CHINA's Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding has delivered the second of six dual fuel 1,400TEU vessels ordered by Finland's Containerships.
Named Containerships Polar, the vessel is a sister to Containerships Nord which was delivered in December last year. Like its sister, the 169- by 26-metre vessel has a design speed of 19.5 knots and can run on either diesel or LNG, reports Melbourne's Baird Maritime.
