CMA CGM ups Asia-West African rates $500/TEU on September 1

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has increased Asia to West Africa rate US$500 per TEU from September 1, the company announced.
The increase, called a "general rate restoration", will apply to all cargo from China, South Korea and Taiwan to all West African ports.
Another increase, this time from September 1 at $500 per container, will apply to all cargo dry, reefer, OOG and breakbulk from South East Asia to West Africa.
