WHILE Cathay Pacific Group pilots, flight crew and airport traffic controllers all reported to have joined the Hong Kong protest over the introduction of the Beijing-inspired Extradition Bill, air cargo was less affected than passenger travel.
Cathay Pacific Cargo said it does not foresee any freighter cancellations, but it expects the freighter operation to be affected by minor delays on certain flights, reported London's Air Cargo News.
Six freighter departures have been cancelled, affecting SpiceJet, Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA), Emirates, Polar Air Cargo, UPS and Etihad.
Six arrivals have also been cancelled, affecting NCA, Emirates, Hong Kong Air Cargo, Etihad and SpiceJet.
