CMA CGM levies US$150/TEU on Asia-Maldives cargo September 15

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM is levying US$150 per TEU peak season surcharge on cargo from Asia to the Maldives, the company announced.
Effective September 15 bill of lading date, the peak season surcharge will apply to shipments from China, Taiwan, South Korea, Southeast Asia to Male, Maldives on all dry cargo, reefer, OOG and breakbulk.
