Emergency services were notified when several stowaways were found on a ship en route from Vlaardingen to Felixstowe.

According to Dutch Authorities, several people were found in a refrigerated container on board a ship that arrived in the Vulcano harbor.

Emergency services took 25 people off-board and provided medical assistance.

2 stowaways were transported to the hospital for extra medical care.

23 people were transferred to a police location after the medical check-up.

According to the report there was no report of casualty.

The ship was thoroughly searched and no other stowaways have been found.
