APL expands Asia-Latin America run with Mexico, S America, China loop

SINGAPORE'S APL is to launch the Quetzal Express (QEX) service that will link key markets in China and Mexico and on the west coast of South America on a weekly basis starting April 6.
The QEX service offers a fast transit time of 22 days from South China to Mexico and offers a direct connection from Taiwan, Central and South China to Puerto, Quetzal and Guayaquil.
The port rotation is Kaohsiung, Shenzhen-Shekou, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Manzanillo (Mexico), Lazaro Cardenas, Puerto Quetzal, Buenaventura, Guayaquil, Callao, Manzanillo, Busan and back to Kaohsiung.
This new service follows the launch of the Condor Express (CDX), Falcon Express (FCX) and Caracara Express (CRX) services plus the Asia Caribbean Express (ACE) service, as the carrier continues to expand it's the port coverage of its Asia-Latin America network.
