Norway's Widereo airline chooses e-cargoware's cloud-based cargo platform

WIDEREO, a Norwegian regional airline, has appointed software firm e-cargoware to digitise its cargo operations that covers 42 domestic and nine international destinations. The e-cargoware platform will be rolled out in the first quarter of 2020.
Cargo manager Thomas Lone was quoted as saying by London's Air Cargo News: "This will give the agents and freight forwarders access to our whole route network, with transparent pricing and live tracking of air cargo."
He continued: "Having scanned the marketplace for a user friendly and modern cargo system, I am delighted to have chosen e-cargoware's cloud-based platform.
"Their solution is easy to implement and is API-based [application programme interface], which is a key requirement for us to integrate with our stakeholders and in-house IT-systems."
