Alitalia starts managing its own cargo sales, distribution instead of Etihad

ALITALIA has started directly managing its commercial sales, distribution, revenue management and operational oversight for the carriage of goods on all of its network flights. The carrier had previously enlisted the help of Etihad Global Cargo Management Company.
In a statement the Italian airline said: "The aim is to relaunch the Alitalia Cargo brand."
Alitalia Cargo has its own fleet of freighters but uses the belly hold of passenger aircraft operating on international and domestic routes. The company also arranges charter flights on request, reported San Francisco's aviator.aero.
