CMA CGM levies US$500/TEU hike on Asia-West Africa cargo February 17

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy a rate increase of US$500 per TEU on all cargo from Asia bound for West African ports from February 17.
Called a general rate restoration, it will apply to all dry, reefer, OOG and breakbulk cargo from mainland China, Taiwan, southeast Asia, east coast of India to West African ports.
