Port of Osaka hails Wan Hai's maiden voyage of its multi-call Japan-Singapore loop

OSAKA's Port & Harbour Bureau held a welcoming ceremony to celebrate the maiden voyage of Wan Hai's NS1 service on April 17.
Delegates from Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation, Taiwan's Wan Hai Lines, and related port operators joined the celebrations.
Featuring Kanto to Hong Kong direct express service and Japanese main ports to Guangzhou-Nansha direct call, the NS1 complements Wan Hai's service that covers Japan and Singapore/Malaysia and will increase frequency to three sailings a week.
"By providing shippers and consignees more options of direct services between Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and South China ports in both directions, it will also expand Wan Hai Lines' market exposure to better serve customers' needs," said a company statement.
The NS1 port rotation is Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Kawasaki, Tokyo, Yokohama, Hong Kong, Nansha, Singapore, Port Klang, Cai Mep, Shenzhen-Shekou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian and back to Osaka.
