FRENCH flag carrier Air France announced that it had offered unions multi-year pay packet between 2019 and 2021 to end continuing strikes that disrupt flights in recent days.
Two more days of two-day stoppages are planned over the coming weeks, reports London's Air Cargo News.
The carrier said it had offered general salary increases for 2018, in addition to 2019, 2020 and 2021 as part of a "growth pact".
There would be an additional increase of one per cent during 2018, bringing the overall increase to two per cent, followed by increases of 3.6 per cent in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Air France said last week that two-day stoppages were expected to affect 40 per cent of long-haul flights, 35 per cent of medium-haul flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle and 25 per cent of short-haul flights from Paris Orly and French provinces.
