CHINESE-state-owned containership operator Hunan Ocean Container Lines is looking to purchase two second-hand river containerships. According to the company's tender notice, it plans to acquire two ships built after December 2014 with a capacity of 500 TEU each, reported Singapore's Splash 247. The potential sellers are required to submit tenders before a deadline of April 20. The carrier operates in the river container shipping business, with services connecting destinations along the Yangtze River and Shanghai. The company's fleet currently stands at 12 box ships. |
