Canada Industrial Relations Board sets CP strike vote for May 25

THE Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) has set May 18-25 as strike vote dates for the Canadian Pacific Railway's Teamsters and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) on the company's last contract offer.
If rejected, there will be a minimum of 72 hours before any strike or lockout can begin.
There are 3,000 conductors and engineers represented by the Teamsters and 360 signalmen represented by the IBEW.
