Ningbo-Zhoushan port to introduce a new 330-metre container berth

NINGBO-ZHOUSHAN is adding a new 70,000 tonne-class 330-metre container berth into operation in July with an annual handling capacity of 620,000 TEU.
The berth, located at Chuanshan area of Ningbo-Zhoushan port, mainly services containers and large size bulk cargo, as well as LNG and oil products, reports Colchester's Seatrade Maritime News.
With the operation of the new berth, Chuanshan port area will have 11 container berths. Last year, Chuanshan port area recorded a 10.35 million TEU throughput.
