A-E down 1.4pc to $907/TEU, USWC up 0.7pc to $2,794/FEU

SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe in the week ending last Friday increased 1.4 per cent to US$907 per TEU.
For Mediterranean ports, rates fell 1.2 per cent to $940 per TEU, according to Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI).
Rates from Shanghai to US west coast rose 0.4 per cent to $2,794 per FEU while China-US east coast increased 1.1 nine per cent to $3,334 per FEU.
