CMA CGM levies Asia-Med area rate increases from September

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a series of rate increases to take effect from Asia from September 1 but not beyond September 14, the company announced.
To which the Marseille-based company will add peak season EUR150 (US$177) per TEU peak season surcharge.
From Asia to the West Med, the rate will be US$1,300 per TEU, $2,300 per FEU, $2,350 per FEU high cubed and $2,350 per FEU reefer.
From Asia to the Adriatic, the rate will be $1,300 per TEU, $2,300 per FEU, $2,350 per FEU high cubed and $2,350 per FEU reefer.
From Asia to the Black Sea, the rate will be $1,500 per TEU, $2,900 per FEU, $2,900 per FEU high cubed and $2,900 per FEU reefer.
From Asia to the East Med, the rate will be $1,500 per TEU, $2,900 per FEU, $2,900 per FEU high cubed and $2,900 per FEU reefer.
From Asia to Syria, the rate will be $1,500 per TEU, $2,900 per FEU, $2,900 per FEU high cubed and $2,900 per FEU reefer.
From Asia to Algeria, the rate will be $2,150 per TEU, $4,100 per FEU and $4,175 per FEU high cubed.
From Asia to Tunisia, the rate will be $2,100 per TEU, $4,000 per FEU and $4,075 per FEU high cubed. (EPS Rades: $120 per TEU.)
From Asia to Morocco, the rate will be $1,700 per TEU, $3,200 per FEU and $3,275 per FEU high cubed. (Benghazi + $75 per TEU.)
