Was Israeli box ship hit by missile en route to India? Doubts arise

AN Israeli containership was allegedly hit by an Iranian missile or two in central Arabian Sea about midnight on March 25, claimed Israeli media.
It was most probably, the 3,641-TEU Liberian-flagged Lori, managed and owned by XT Management, Haifa while en route from Dar es Salaam and Mundra north of Mumbai, reported Kiev's Maritime Bulletin, which specialises in marine casualties.
The Lori had reduced speed when allegedly hit and resumed sailing at around 4am and was under way again heading for Mundra at 20 knots.
The ship is reported to have sustained damage, but no casualties or injures among crew.
"What's the purpose of recent Iranian attacks on Israeli merchant ships, if they really took place? No serious damage, no casualties - just luck or was it something else? - what's it all for?" asks Mikhail Voytenko, publisher of the Maritime Bulletin.
"Israeli media were until recently, trustworthy, can't be trusted any more. Iran isn't exactly trustworthy, but nor is Israel. Who attacked whom with what and for what is a mystery, a black hole," Mr Voytenko said.
