The M/V LAILA, the first European voyage of China United Lines (CU Lines), arrived in Hamburg on March 9, calling at EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg (CTH).
In order to alleviate the shortage of shipping capacity on the Asia-Europe trade route and ensure the stability of the international supply chain, CU Lines, which has focused on domestic and Asian short sea services, successfully organised empty containers and started the direct European service during the Chinese New Year. The 2,700 TEU LAILA departed from Yantian International Container Terminal on February 7 with full load and headed to European ports of Rotterdam and Hamburg. CU Lines entrusted Peter D?hle Group in Hamburg as its agent to guarantee first-class destination services for the customers. In view of the market's positive response, CU Lines is currently planning the second European voyage.
