CMA CGM to implement peak surcharges for cargo from Med to NZ

CMA CGM is implementing peak season surcharges (PSS) of US$300 per TEU and $500 per reefer container starting May 11 for goods from the Mediterranean to New Zealand, reports AJOT.
In a statement, the French shipping line said the PSS will apply to short term contracts for cargo from West Med, East Med, Adriatic, Black Sea, Morocco, North Africa & France (Atlantic & Mediterranean) to New-Zealand.
