Cargotec acquires Navis business to get tech firm Accel-KKR

FINLAND's Cargotec has completed the sale of its Navis business to the US technology investment firm Accel-KKR for US$450 million, according to its press release.
The transition of Navis operations and employees to Accel-KKR will take place in phases before the end of 2021.
Cargotec estimates that the transaction will have a positive impact of $284 million on its operating profit in 2021.
