China 'resolutely opposes' US use of trade blacklist grows

WITH 23 Chinese firms being added to a US trade blacklist, China declared they "resolutely oppose" the added Chinese entities, reports Reuters.
The US claims the entities have been added due to alleged human rights abuses and military ties.
China's Ministry of Commerce declared the inclusion of the Chinese entities was a serious breach of international economic and trade rules and an unreasonable suppression of Chinese companies.
The ministry went on stating Beijing will take necessary measures to safeguard China's legitimate rights and interests.
Entities included on the economic blacklist are required to apply for licenses from the Commerce Department.
In 2019, the Commerce Department under the Trump administration targeted 20 Chinese public security bureaus and eight companies.
