MSC to levy emergency intermodal charge on US exports

THE Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), the world's second biggest container shipping company after Maersk, will implement an emergency intermodal charge of US$350 per container from September 10.
This will be applicable on all US intermodal exports for all trades via US or Canadian gateways where the mode of transport is truck or truck rail.
