Man overboard in River Plate from 8,000-TEU Ever Lifting

The 8,000-TEU Ever Lifting contacted Uruguay's Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre August 29, reporting a man overboard, some 12 nautical miles south of Pirapolis Uruguay, east of Montevideo, reported Kiev's Maritime Bulletin. which specialises in marine casualties.
Search and rescue agencies launched a helicopter, boats from nearby ports including navy minesweeper, but the man was not found, but as of morning August 30, search was still under way.
The British flagged 104,620-dwt Ever Lifting, built in 2015, put into Montevideo, her next scheduled port of call having arrived from Itajai Brazil. She is owned and managed by the Evergreen Marine Corp, Taiwan.
