WITH congestion rising on the US east coast impacting schedule reliability and furthering delays, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is combining the calls at Savannah and New York from mid-January until further notice, reports the American Journal of Transportation.
Meanwhile, the Liberty Service will omit Savannah, and Savannah cargo will be loaded on the America Service.
Though New York will be omitted on the America Service, New York cargo will be transported on the Liberty Service.
