ECTN digitisation make it easier for West African exporters

ELECTRONIC Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) is easier to handle for West African exporters due to GetCTN.com, a fast ECTN provider, reports the American Journal of Transportation.
An ECTN is a loading certificate that is mandatory for all ports in West Africa and many countries on the African continent.
More than 20 African countries use ECTN because they want to keep their ports safe and organised, said the report.
GetCTN wants the required documents for a shipment. When they get the documents, they prepare a draft CTN for the shipment and send it to confirm.
For other agents, this procedure can be around three to four days, but for GetCTN, it is only takes 24 hours.
