Swiss Airtainer has EASA approval for new container

SWISS Airtainer has a new active air freight container, which received regulatory approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), reports UK's Global Cold Chain News.
It enables the company to begin offering its unit-load device for shipments.
"We are extremely satisfied that our technology has passed the rigorous standards of EASA," said Swiss Airtainer CEO Eduard Seligman.
"We are already in communication with leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, logistics providers, and airlines," he said.
