Ningbo-Zhoushan January volume surpasses 3 million TEU

THE world's third busiest shipping hub Ningbo-Zhoushan port maintained strong volume growth in the Chinese New Year holiday month of January 2023, reports the UK's Seatrade Maritime News.
The port posted a container volume of over three million TEU in the first month of 2023. It is the second time that the port's monthly container volume surpassed the three million TEU mark after July 2022, hitting a new high.
The port has strengthened business connections with shipping companies and alliances since from January this year and has opened up a new service for the Belt and Road Initiative.
