Ship with cargo of fertiliser sinking in Vietnamese waters

ON March 10, the Xuyen A 126, a general cargo ship carrying 2,600 tons of fertiliser from Can Tho to Quy Nhon, sent distress signals, reporting a sinking due to hull water ingress, reports Rostock Germany's FleetMon.
It is currently unclear whether all of the crew members were safely evacuated. The ship was boarded by a rescue team and taken to anchor half a nautical mile off the coast of Binh Thuan Province, located north of Vung Tau.
