Fesco's fleet expands 25 units with total capacity over 28,000 TEU

RUSSIA's Fesco Transportation Group recently added the Fesco Ekaterina, its ninth containership acquisition in the past three years, to its fleet, reports St Petersburg PortNews.
With this addition, Fesco's fleet now totals 25 units, with a total deadweight of over 400,000 tonnes and a capacity of over 28,000 TEU.
The Fesco Ekaterina will operate between the ports of Turkey and Novorossiysk as part of the Fesco Turkey Black Sea Service (FTBS), measuring 142.7 metres in length, 22.63 metres in width, and a deadweight of 12.78 tonne with a capacity of 1,049 TEU.
With operations that include the Commercial Port of Vladivostok, rail operators Transgarant and Dalreftrans, Russkaya Troyka, and dry terminal facilities in Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, and Tomsk, Fesco operates 130,000 containers and 10,000 container platforms, with 25 vessels deployed primarily on its own sea service lines.
