National Airlines and Etihad Cargo collaborate to handle USPS Mail

NATIONAL Airlines, a US-based division under National Air Cargo Holdings, Inc, has unveiled a groundbreaking interline partnership with Etihad Cargo, a prominent player in the Middle East's aviation landscape, reports Yahoo Finance.
The collaboration marks the launch of the ICAIR23 programme, strategically designed to cater to the United States Postal Service (USPS).
The venture combines National's rich expertise in international freight transportation with Etihad Cargo's expansive global commercial network.
Phase 1 of the ICAIR23 programme sets the stage for a remarkable initiative.
As a US flag carrier with P1 preferences, National Airlines will orchestrate the dispatch of USPS civilian, military, and diplomatic mail.
These shipments will leverage Etihad Cargo's established scheduled services, effectively spanning multiple lanes that have been allocated for the duration of 2023 to 2027.
This unique partnership capitalizes on the strengths of both entities, promising enhanced efficiency and reliability in the transportation of vital mail services.
National Airlines' established track record in the field of international freight, combined with Etihad Cargo's extensive network, paints an optimistic picture for the successful execution of this pioneering collaboration.
