    Old Dominion Freight Line posts 13.6pc rise in November LTL volume

    NORTH CAROLINA's Old Dominion Freight Line has posted less-than-truckload (LTL) November volumes increased 13.6 per cent year on year.

    "Our revenue growth thus far into the fourth quarter includes increases in volume and yield, and reflects the ongoing improvement in the domestic economy," said CEO David Congdon.

    "We believe these results represent increases in our market share. We remain committed to investing in our business as part of our long-term strategy to ensure that we have the capacity necessary to support increasing customer demand," he said.

    Nasdaq-listed Old Dominion Freight Lineis an LTL union-free motor carrier providing regional, inter-regional and national services, which include ground and air expedited transportation and consumer household pickup and delivery through a single integrated organisation.
