ESSENTIAL trade and logistics groups in Ghana, including the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF) and several customs and trade associations, are upset, reports MyJoyOnline.

Their protest is aimed at addressing what they say are "exploitative practices" by shipping lines operating in the country.

The protest, led by associations such as the Customs Brokers Association of Ghana, hopes to bring industry-wide attention to the need for fairer treatment and improved pricing practices by shipping operators in the region.
