CMA CGM buys 5 Seatrade reefer-rich feeder ships

PARIS-BASED consultancy Alphaliner reports that French shipping giant CMA CGM has leased five reefer-rich 2,259-TEUer on long term charter from Dutch reefer owner Seatrade for a low US$30 million, reports Singapore's Splash 247.
The ships are the 2016-2017-built Seatrade Orange, Seatrade Red, Seatrade White and Seatrade Blue, as well as the 2019-built Seatrade Green. All were built at Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding in China.
Seatrade is in the process of taking delivery of a series of six high-reefer 1,800-TEU ships from Huanghai Shipbuilding in China.
