CIVIL AVIATION MINISTER Sameh Hefni met with a delegation from China Gezhouba Group, a subsidiary of China Energy, to explore opportunities for collaboration in the civil aviation sector, reports Egypt Independent.

The discussion focused on the Chinese company's proposal for cooperation with Egypt, including an in-depth presentation on a project to design and develop a logistics city at Cairo International Airport, similar to those at other global airports.

This initiative aims to strengthen Egypt's strategic position as a regional and international logistics hub. It addresses the growing demand for air freight services and enhances its role in connecting global markets.
