AD Ports Group announced that Khalifa Port has risen to 39th place in the Lloyd's List Top 100 Ports for 2025, continuing its upward trajectory since first entering the ranking at 95th in 2019.

The port's improved position reflects consistent growth driven by expansion, digital integration and operational efficiency. AD Ports Group said the rise highlights Khalifa Port's role as a logistics gateway and Abu Dhabi's growing presence in global trade.

London's Lloyd's List ranks ports worldwide based on container throughput and performance. Khalifa Port's advancement underscores its transformation into a technology-led, sustainable maritime hub with a broad network of shipping partners.

The port connects sea, land, rail and air transport, integrated with the KEZAD Group, the UAE's largest industrial and trade zone. This infrastructure enables direct access to global shipping routes for manufacturers and distributors.

AD Ports Group reported total container capacity of 11.8 million TEU in Q2 2025, with Khalifa Port contributing 9.6 million. Throughput in the first half of 2025 rose 21 per cent year-on-year to 3.62 million TEU, 85 per cent of which were handled at Khalifa Port.

AD Ports Group is listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and serves as the UAE's main developer and operator of ports, logistics and industrial zones.
