CEVA Logistics to operate Honeywell's first APAC distribution centre

HONEYWELL Aerospace Trading (HAT) has signed CEVA Logistics to to run its Kuala Lumpur distribution centre, its first in Asia Pacific, tol provide supply chain solutions for HAT's end users.
Located within the Bukit Jelutong Industrial Park, CEVA Logistics will operate an ambient and air-conditioned, bonded facility for both raw materials and finished goods for export and local distribution.
The logistics company will also be one of the suppliers responsible for HAT's global air freight and import management, co-packing and customs brokerage in Malaysia.
This will enable HAT to have quick access to inventory thus enable it to focus on its core competencies providing quality and timely support to end users.
Said CEVA vice president Elaine Low: "CEVA has a good track record with Honeywell, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions."
In Southeast Asia, CEVA has a strong portfolio with Honeywell that consists of contract logistics and freight management solutions in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, Indonesia as well as customs brokerage businesses in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
