CMA CGM sets new FAK rates from Asia to North Europe November 1

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has set new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates as follows from the November 1 date of loading in ports of origin until further notice, but not beyond November 30.
Thus, from Asia to North Europe the rate will be US$1,000 per TEU, $1,800 per FEU, $1,850 per FEU high cube, and $1,850 per FEU reefer.
These rates will apply from all Asian ports including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh to all northern European ports including UK and the full range from Portugal to Finland/Estonia.
These rates include the basic freight and the bunker surcharge. They are subject to other bunker-related surcharges, terminal handling charges (THC), origin and destination, the peak season charges and similar charges, the safety and security-related surcharges that are accessible at http://www.cma-cgm.com/ebusiness/tariffs/charge-finder. Other charges such as contingency charges and local charges may also apply.
